MOONLIT HAZE
MOONLIT HAZE
Personal Project
Visual Identity · Branding · Promotional Design
Moonlit Haze is a conceptual two-night music festival built around atmosphere, sound, and sensory immersion. The project explores how visual identity can shape perception—translating late-night energy, psychedelic aesthetics, and genre-blending music into a cohesive brand system.
The direction positions the festival not just as an event, but as an environment—where visuals, motion, and merchandise work together to create a unified experience.
Nighttime changes how things feel—colors shift, lights blur, and sound becomes more immersive.
This concept leans into that transformation, creating a festival identity rooted in haze, glow, and distortion.
Moonlit Haze isn’t just attended—it’s experienced.
Brand Identity (Logo + Core Visual Language)
The logo establishes the tone of the festival—mysterious, fluid, and slightly surreal.
Soft, diffused forms inspired by smoke and light
Typography that feels atmospheric and immersive
Visual elements that suggest motion and distortion
The identity is designed to feel alive—constantly shifting rather than static.
Motion Design (GIFs)
Motion plays a key role in bringing the concept to life.
Looping GIFs simulate haze, light movement, and ambient energy
Subtle distortions and transitions reinforce the psychedelic tone
Designed for digital spaces, creating a sense of movement across platforms
These elements extend the identity beyond static design into experience-driven visuals.
Posters (Campaign System)
A series of three posters builds out the festival’s visual presence.
Layered compositions with light, glow, and abstract textures
Bold yet atmospheric typography
Visual hierarchy designed to feel immersive rather than rigid
Each poster functions as both promotion and artwork—capturing different moods within the same system.
Apparel (T-Shirt Design)
The t-shirt translates the identity into a wearable format.
Graphic elements pulled from the poster system
Designed to feel like a piece of merchandise you’d keep—not just event branding
Reinforces the festival as a cultural moment, not just a one-time experience
The visual language draws from nightlife, psychedelia, and ambient design:
Deep, moody color palettes contrasted with neon or glowing accents
Soft gradients, blur effects, and haze-inspired textures
Experimental typography that feels fluid and slightly distorted
Emphasis on atmosphere over clarity
The goal is to create a sense of immersion, not just visibility.
Primary: 18–35 music fans drawn to indie, alternative, and experimental sounds
Secondary: visually driven audiences who connect with immersive, aesthetic experiences
Developed a cohesive identity across logo design, motion graphics (GIFs), posters, and apparel—ensuring consistency across both static and dynamic formats.
Created using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, and motion-based tools.
A fully realized festival identity that transforms Moonlit Haze into a sensory-driven brand—where design, motion, and atmosphere come together to create a lasting visual and emotional experience.
