Visual Identity / EP Campaign

Overview

Art Club is a Glasgow-based band blending Jazz, Afrobeat, Electronica, and Soul into a sound that feels both timeless and explosive. The visual identity for their EP Crystal Children was designed to reflect that same energy through bold color, abstract illustration, and expressive typography.

The project explores a playful but striking visual language inspired by handmade artwork, surreal forms, and experimental music culture. Using bright primary colors, organic shapes, and rough textures, the identity creates something energetic, emotional, and slightly unpredictable.

Logo System

The Art Club logo was designed as a flexible visual mark that combines playful typography with handmade illustration. The custom symbol integrates abstract facial features and eye forms to create a logo that feels artistic, experimental, and memorable.

Bright color combinations help reinforce the energetic tone of the band while allowing the identity system to remain visually loud across multiple applications.

A four-poster series created for Crystal Children, the debut EP by Art Club. Drawing from the band's fusion of jazz, afrobeat, soul, and electronic music, the visuals use abstract forms, bold color, and distressed textures to create a playful yet atmospheric identity. Each poster explores a different composition while sharing a common visual language, capturing the experimental and genre-blending spirit of the project.
