Visual Identity / Event Branding
Concrete Dreams is a five-day music festival built on the idea that every crack in the city tells a story. Inspired by New York’s five boroughs, the identity celebrates the beauty found in worn walls, underground culture, and generations of artists who transformed concrete into a canvas. Every visual element embraces imperfection, proving that dreams aren’t built on perfect foundations—they’re built on grit.
The Concrete Dreams logo is designed to feel like it was pulled straight from the street. The custom CD icon is inspired by the shape of a cinder block, representing the foundation of both the city and the festival itself. Bold distressed typography gives the identity weight and attitude, while the handwritten “Music Festival” adds a human touch that reminds people there’s creativity behind every crack.
Each festival poster gives its artist a personality while staying rooted in the Concrete Dreams identity. Rather than using one template, every design borrows textures, colors, and visual references from the neighborhood hosting the performance, creating a series that feels connected without ever becoming repetitive.
The festival opens where her story began—the Bronx. Loud typography, vibrant orange accents, and the energy of Yankee Stadium reflect Ice Spice’s bold personality and introduce the festival with confidence. The poster feels playful, energetic, and impossible to ignore.
Brooklyn belongs to Jay-Z. The poster embraces cracked brick walls, muted tones, and heavyweight typography to mirror the city’s resilience and legacy. It feels confident without shouting, letting the environment speak just as loudly as the artist.
Manhattan’s creative chaos comes alive through vintage imagery, torn concrete, and nostalgic textures. The design celebrates the Beastie Boys’ rebellious spirit while honoring the borough that helped shape one of hip-hop’s most influential groups.
Raw, unapologetic, and unmistakably Staten Island. Heavy monochrome imagery, distressed graphics, and weathered textures echo the underground spirit that made Wu-Tang legendary. The poster feels less like an advertisement and more like something pasted onto a city wall decades ago.
The festival ends with spectacle. Jagged cracks, dramatic colors, and explosive typography reflect KISS’s larger-than-life performances while transforming Queens into the stage for one final unforgettable night.
Designed like a souvenir you’d never want to throw away, the official festival tee captures the feeling of surviving five unforgettable nights in New York. The faded wash, distressed construction, and cropped silhouette give it a naturally worn-in look, while the cracked concrete artwork on the back turns the shirt into a piece of the city itself.

Rather than recreating the famous I NY logo, this interpretation celebrates the city’s identity through a simplified Statue of Liberty icon and oversized typography. Familiar enough to recognize, yet unique enough to belong to the Concrete Dreams universe.
Concrete Dreams was designed as more than a logo—it was built as a complete visual system. From apparel and posters to merchandise and promotional graphics, every application shares the same gritty personality inspired by cracked sidewalks, weathered walls, and the creative communities that thrive within them. The result is a festival brand that feels authentic, collectible, and unmistakably New York.
